Beanstalk Academy is a leading, full-service, 3K - UPK, Early Head Start - Head Start, and early education provider whose purpose is to support and accommodate our families' needs by providing a safe and nurturing childcare experience. We are searching for passionate and warm Assistant Teachers to join our growing team for children ages 3 months to age 5. That includes Teacher Assistants for Head Start, 3K, and UPK classrooms.

The Assistant Teachers will act as co-teachers supporting in bringing learning to life and drive our mission of instilling a lifelong love of learning.

Teacher Assistant Responsibilities:

• Work collaboratively with the lead teacher, following his/her lead in supporting all aspects of curriculum and instruction
• Participate in classroom instruction that is developmentally appropriate and meets the needs of children
• Actively interact with children, demonstrating patience and warmth in all interactions
• Actively engage with families to ensure parents/caregivers are knowledgeable about the child’s program
• Help lead instruction in small groups and 1:1 to support the lead teacher in differentiating instruction
• Work collaboratively with the lead teacher to promote child health and safety

Essential Qualifications (Must have one)

• Valid NYS Teaching Assistant Certification
