Preschool Family Advocate

The Family Advocate's role is to preserve the family unit by providing a range of culturally competent; family-centered services that support families participating in the program with healthy lifestyle goals to empower parent-child relationship, family support systems and community.

Responsibilities

• Conducts assessment of family’s  needs and provides resources to effect growth and change.
• Delivers effective case management services, such as medical and dental examination for children
• Ensure parental consent and necessary authorization to release information.
• Develop relationships with communities to ensure the best educational experience for each child

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in human services or related field.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience
• Exceptional communication skills
