Job Description:
Infant/Toddler Lead Teacher-Early Childhood Education Teacher- Head Teacher (0-2 years)
Seeking Infant/Toddler Lead Teacher to oversee and direct programs for one of our many Clients’ Preschool Centers in Brooklyn, NY. The ideal candidate should possess a strong passion for education with great management skills to supervise and direct the overall program, ensure classroom safety, and prepare and evaluate the curriculum for children to be school-ready.
Responsibilities:
- Establish and maintaining a safe, healthy, and nurturing learning environment
- Consistently provide stimulating activities that will support their emotional, intellectual, and social development.
- Establish positive and effective family relations and communication
- Promote feeling of security and trust with infant and toddler families
- Plan and implement a developmentally appropriate and individualized development plan for each child; taking care to include parents in the planning process
- Conduct daily safety inspection of the classroom
- Daily care for infants including by not limited to feeding and diaper changing
- Develop schedules, lesson plans, and routines to ensure adequate physical activity, rest, and playtime
- Maintain a clean and tidy classroom consistent with health and safety standards
Required skills and Qualifications:
- Associates or bachelor’s degree in early childhood education
- Excellent communication and instructional skills
- Ability to multi-task
- Cool-tempered, friendly and reliable
- Passion for educating children
Pay Rate:
$16.00 - $18.50 per hour
