Job Description:
Child Care Staffing is looking for a candidate with outstanding written, verbal, and communication skills. An HR Manager should display strong problem solving and decision-making skills with a deep understanding of employee relationships, staff management, and payroll. Candidates should be effective at scheduling and thorough in the recruitment process.
Job details:
- Assist with all internal and external HR related inquiries or requests.
- Administering employee health plans including enrollment, changes, and terminations
- Track benefit plans including health care, Workers Comp, etc.
- Identify and recruit candidates, perform reference checks, verify work history and references and issue employment offers.
- Coordinate trainings sessions and seminars
- Track and maintain staff trainings
- Ensure payroll is correct and process payroll
- Maintain and update employee records to ensure compliance
- Produce and submit reports on general HR activity.
- Keep up to date with the latest HR legal requirements and best practice.
- Provide administrative support to all staff
- Assist with performance review and termination process
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in human resource or Manager.
- Exposure to Labor Law and employment equity regulations
- Effective HR administration and people management skills
- Exposure to payroll practices
- Full understanding of HR functions and best practices
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Works well under pressure and meets tight deadlines
- Highly computer literate with capability in Outlook, MS Office, Child Plus and related communication tools.
- Organization and time management skills.
