Job Description:

Child Care Staffing is looking for a candidate with outstanding written, verbal, and communication skills. An HR Manager should display strong problem solving and decision-making skills with a deep understanding of employee relationships, staff management, and payroll. Candidates should be effective at scheduling and thorough in the recruitment process.

Job details:

  • Assist with all internal and external HR related inquiries or requests.
  • Administering employee health plans including enrollment, changes, and terminations
  • Track benefit plans including health care, Workers Comp, etc.
  • Identify and recruit candidates, perform reference checks, verify work history and references and issue employment offers.
  • Coordinate trainings sessions and seminars
  • Track and maintain staff trainings
  • Ensure payroll is correct and process payroll
  • Maintain and update employee records to ensure compliance
  • Produce and submit reports on general HR activity.
  • Keep up to date with the latest HR legal requirements and best practice.
  • Provide administrative support to all staff
  • Assist with performance review and termination process

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resource or Manager.
  • Exposure to Labor Law and employment equity regulations
  • Effective HR administration and people management skills
  • Exposure to payroll practices
  • Full understanding of HR functions and best practices
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Works well under pressure and meets tight deadlines
  • Highly computer literate with capability in Outlook, MS Office, Child Plus and related communication tools.
  • Organization and time management skills.
